About Sandy Pastroff

Sandy is an accomplished antitrust lawyer, litigator, and compliance leader, with 30+ years of experience in senior positions split between an Am Law 100 law firm and a Fortune 200 consumer products company.

In the M&A context, Sandy has obtained regulatory approvals for $1B+ global transactions, including in the U.S., EU, UK, Brazil, and China.  In addition to companies involved in mergers and joint ventures, Sandy has represented customers, suppliers, and competitors in M&A matters.

In the investigations/litigation context, Sandy has guided companies through criminal and civil government investigations in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Sandy also has successfully litigated high-stakes antitrust cases, including class actions, in more than 15 countries.

As a trusted advisor, Sandy breaks down complex issues and strategies for executives to give practical and clear advice on nearly every type of antitrust issue. He has also designed and led the global implementation of world-class antitrust training and compliance programs.

Sandy has leveraged his antitrust experience into the broader corporate compliance space and served for several years as the global head of compliance for Whirlpool Corporation.

Sandy has been appointed to many leadership positions in the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law, and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Global Private Litigation Committee and as a member of the Transition Task Force.
